The Biology Department offers graduate programs leading to M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees. There are over thirty faculty research labs for graduate student participation in a broad range of research areas. The average program length is 2 to 3 years for a M.Sc. and 4 to 5 years for a Ph.D. There are approximately 80 M.Sc. and Ph.D. students currently in the program.
