Dr. Greg Gibson
Regents Professor of Biological Sciences, Center for Integrative Genomics, Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta GA.
Greg Gibson uses integrative genomics in the study of personalized medicine.
Borrowing concepts developed during his early career as an evolutionary geneticist, he is probing how evolutionary processes have shaped the distribution of susceptibility to complex disease within and among human populations. This talk will also walk through how the field of personalized genomic medicine is itself evolving, with particular emphasis on diversity, the environment, and accessibility.
