Dr Gow: “Birds in the City: The importance of urban areas for bird throughout the year”

Dr. Elizabeth Gow, a Research Scientist at Environment and Climate Change Canada in Delta, BC and new adjunct in Biology will be visiting the department and giving a seminar titled “Birds in the City: The importance of urban areas for bird throughout the year” on Thursday October 3^rd at 1:30pm in LSB 213A.  She has many exciting research projects, including one that examines best forestry management practices for conserving Wiliamson’s sapsucker (a species-at-risk) with Dr Choy at McMaster: https://www.elizabethgow.com/research-team.html!
